What it solves

• When clearing a pile of sensitive documents, — shreds up to 12 sheets at once into 0.2 x 1.2 inch cross-cut pieces.
• When destroying old plastic cards or stapled pages, — shreds one credit card at a time and handles staples and small paper clips.
• When running multiple shredding sessions back-to-back, — stops automatically after nine minutes and requires a thirty minute cool-down to prevent overheating.

Good to know

• Emptying and placement considerations: — the 19-liter bin reduces empty frequency and the unit needs countertop or floor space.
• Noise level to expect: — operates around 70 dB, which is noticeable in small rooms or shared home offices.
• Size and portability: — measures 7.9 by 13.2 by 16.5 inches and weighs about 12.6 pounds for bench placement.
